21 years ago, LACE Paper Catalogue 2000
21 years ago, LACE Lingerie published its first specialist catalogue with a focus on “smart lingerie for bigger busts”. Back then, it was almost impossible to find a bra for women with a cup size of D or more. At that time, LACE had physical shops, and we saw the need of these women with curves when we were doing bra fitting in our shops. In 2000, our catalogues were D-G cup or D-H cup. Since then, the sizes have been significantly expanded. Today, LACE offers bra sizes up to a P cup.

Nursing Bras: Advantages and Disadvantages of Wired Bras vs. Non-Wired Bras
For many years, nursing bras were primarily only available without underwires. The concern was that underwired nursing bras could restrict milk flow into the breast and cause clogged milk ducts, or Mastitis, an inflammation or infection in the breast. This concern about wires causing clogged milk ducts or Mastitis has subsided, as there are many other factors that can contribute to the conditions, although it is still important to wear a properly fitted bra while you're nursing to reduce this risk.
Most women in D+ cups wear an underwired bra for everyday wear, so switching to a non-wired nursing bra can seem like a compromise. Here we've broken down the benefits of nursing bras with and without wires, as well as the disadvantages of each.

Shapewear Guide
Many of us can remember seeing vintage shapewear pieces in our mother's and grandmother's wardrobes that looked restrictive and uncomfortable, but that's just not the case these days. Soft and comfortable, yet firm, stretch fabrics are now used by many lingerie manufacturers and can offer a smoothing appearance under today's lightweight and fitted clothes. Many pieces can be worn everyday, and women choose them for a variety of reasons such as smoothing out any lumps and bumps, tummy support, an extra layer for warmth through the winter months, or to eliminate thighs from chafing under dresses and skirts.

Guide to Gifting Lingerie
Giving lingerie as a gift can be seen as intimate or romantic, but it can also be a caring gesture for a woman who may often put others' needs before herself. The gift of lingerie could be for your partner, a good friend, your daughter, sister or mother. The gift may be a comfortable basic that she can appreciate every day, or a luxurious and extravagant item that she wouldn't ever purchase for herself; or it could be something sexy given to your partner for you both to enjoy. If you've never bought lingerie as a gift before, here are our helpful hints to choosing the right gift.

Choosing a sports bra.
If you are active, it's important that you invest in a good sports bra for your breast health, just as you would in a good pair of shoes for your sport. When you are larger busted, it can be uncomfortable or painful to do high-impact activities without the proper support. The ligaments in your breasts, as well as your skin, can experience a great deal of movement and the right sports bra style in a good fit will restrict movement and reduce any damage or fatigue to the ligaments in your breasts.
